What is Biblical Counseling?
II Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
II Peter 1:3 says, "...His divine power has given to us everything pertaining to life and godliness..."
At North Shore Bible Church, we counsel from God's Word, the Bible. We believe that the Bible is Holy and perfect, and that it teaches us, corrects us, and instructs us on how to live a life that is pleasing to God. We believe that the Bible is completely sufficient for all of life's struggles. We believe that God has given us absolutely everything we need in order to live a spiritually productive and God-honoring life. We are certain that the Bible has the answer to all of life's issues and problems, big and small, and that real change begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Everyone struggles from time to time, everyone experiences personal issues and problems, and everyone needs help and support through-out life. We would love to counsel you, and to share with you how the Bible pertains to you and your problems. Nothing is too big, or too small for God and His Word is sufficient!
